Hi there! I'm a teacher and I run special courses for various people. I need to block those new hidden Bluetooth ear buds, that they frequently use to cheat on tests. I need a device that will block just 2.4 GHz frequency, mobile communications should work. I'll be very grateful, if you will be able to help.

Hello, Mike!

Cheating at exams is a real problem and we will try to help you. First of all you should know that those devices doesn't work without smartphones, they are widely spread of course, but no everyone will afford that for cheating. Before trying radical means – try to talk to people, explain them that using those Bluetooth earpods make their smartphones vulnerable to attackers, because 2.4 GHz frequency is rather vulnerable itself.

If that won't work – that portable Wi-Fi/Bluetooth jammer will fit your needs perfectly. First of all it is portable, so you'll be able to keep it with you. Another benefit here is the jamming range – it is 15 meters, or 50 feet. The only problem here is the fact that Wi-Fi and Bluetooth use the same frequency, so when the jamming device is on all the Wi-Fi networks in the area will go down too.

All of our Bluetooth jammers block GSM too, but you will be able to turn that function of with a simple DIP switch at the side of the device. The device, we at Jammer-Store have recommended has a battery and it may power it for 2-2.5 hours – that should probably be enough for one test or exam. Don't forget to turn all the other DIP switches off, or you will block all communications in the area!

Thanks for your question, I hope, I've managed to help!
