Hi Michael!

UBI is a voice controlled computer that can be simply plugged into your wall and start working. The device is really cool and its development began at KickStarter and that’s not the only device that came to us from there. That UBI computer can do lots of stuff. It connects the internet via your Wi-Fi router automatically and then it can commence searches and tell you the results. It can also make calls, monitor conditions of every room, informing you about all the changes in the house while you are out.

That tiny computer packed with a whole bunch of sensors to monitor temperature, humidity, lights and many other things. It can also wake you up, remind you various important tasks and even give advices on what to wear now. UBI will be an open platform, so developers will be able to create their own apps for it. In that case we at Jammer-Store think that its functionality will be even higher. You can also access UBI through its web interface via your tablet, notebook or smartphone to read all the data it gathers. So, you see that UBI can serve you as thermostat, intercom and baby monitor.

As I’ve already said, it connects the internet via Wi-Fi and that means that it can be easily jammed. You can turn off the router and UBI will lose the connection. There is another way, if you cannot turn it off, or you need your router on. You simply need to use a Wi-Fi signal blocker near UBI. That zapper will jam all the 2.4 GHz signal in the area and surely prevent UBI from connecting the net. By the way, it is available for pre-order right now and is going to hit the shelves in the beginning of 2013. Thanks for your question, I hope I’ve managed to help.
