There is a problem with the privacy of employees on my company. We are an small sized, between 10 and 50 employees, but managed by a bunch of incompetent bosses and managers. Now we have a privacy problem, since they put Detector.co.uk on each car from the company. That is an excellent option for avoid anti-theft and other advanced options. The problem start here, becuose the car from the company is our daily use, it becames a personal car. And its being used to track the employees private life out of the office. I need to know if there is a way to avoid this.

Hi there, Hummel.

Such a privacy problems are spreading really wide, because brasses try to control every aspect of life of their employees rather frequently. Such auto trackers are used not only for tracking employees, some insurance companies also use them to monitor driving of their clients so the problem you have described is really urgent and important.

First of all it is necessary to know how that whole thing works. Those trackers may have different configurations and look different too, but the way they work is always the same. They use GPS frequencies to determine vehicle's coordinates and speed. Some models may also have built-in accelerometers and fuel sensors. Then they transmit all the gathered data to a central monitoring server via GSM standard, which uses 900/1800 MHz frequency in Europe and 850/1900 MHz in US, Canada and Latin America.

Also those trackers are able to determine raw coordinates using cell tower triangulation, that's why some models may work in areas, where GPS is usually unavailable, like underground tunnels or big parking lots. That's probably the main reason why it is really hard to avoid such a tracking, but it will be possible with our universal GPS/GSM signal jammer. That device will block both GSM and GPS signals and will hide you from tracking. Also, nobody will know that you are using a jamming device, because it will look like you're simply out of cell service coverage.

Thanks for your question, I hope I've managed to help.

Thank you!

I will definitively have a look over this device. My question is, if there is a chance to get a bigger battery or autonomy.

Best.

Hello again, Hummel!

Yes, it is possible to get a bigger battery, because our signal jamming devices run on the standard Li-Ion batteries and there's no problem to find a more powerful one. The problem is in fitting it into the jammer itself. It may be really bigger than the original one. Probably, the best way will be to consult with our sales and engineering team, you can contact them here.

Thanks for your question, I hope I've managed to help!
